Euless Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association
Graduates have the opportunity to join the Euless Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. This group directly assists the Police by supporting the department and fostering a good relationship between citizens and the City of Euless. These volunteers give their time and money regularly in order to make Euless a better place to live.
This civic group assists the Euless Police Department in the area of community understanding regarding the legal aspects of what a Police Department can do and cannot do when enforcing local, state and federal laws.
Through seminars, pamphlets, demonstrations, films, hands-on participation as well as forums with the various elected officials, (Mayor, Council Members, County Judges and District Attorneys), a strong effort has been made to heighten awareness and build an excellent relationship between the citizens of this community and its Police Department.
Furthermore, the Euless Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association was formed to support the Department in many community activities. As you know, police departments today are called upon to do many things in the community, and in many cases are under staffed to handle the request and demands of the citizens. The Alumni Association supports the Police Department in as many ways possible.
